With a print run of 200,000 copies, the guide went out the weekend before the festival with the Saturday edition of the Guardian.

The theme was centred around activism, a reference to the Guardian’s origins 200 years before after the 1819 Peterloo Massacre.

I created a look that nodded to the punk/zine aesthetic of the 70s and 80s, but one that was still true to the Guardian’s design principles - and for the cover I photocopied and printed on coloured paper, layering up with wheatpaste and tearing away before scanning in the results.
